I had the privilege to talk to my friend Jesse who explains how he got into contracting and the challenges he faced when he left the military. We discuss a bit on why he chose to move to California and the differences in working in a non-military environment. As always, we give a shout out to our four-legged friends.

We discuss the difficulties of finding employment after they military and the importance of networking. We reminisce about being in C/97th. Tips on Job Hunting and a Thank you

In this episode I thank everyone who has listened to this podcast. I appreciate your kindness in taking a few minutes to listen. I then explain the importance of using key words on your resume. I also discuss the difference between job boards and jobs on the companies website. Lastly, I explain how a conscious effort to change my mentality and life has helped make a few people smile.

A Man Named Drew

In this episode I talk to my friend Drew who shares his insights on the interview process. He also shares a bit of knowledge about the 90% skill myth that hiring managers say an applicant should have if they apply.  In the later segment we address how we handle the "thank you for your service" that all service members encounter. We end the show with a shout out to my granddaughter's best friend "Taco" and an explanation on why veterans grow beards.
